This location was found purely by chance, I was driving around the general area trying to find a suitable landscape to shoot, then drove past this large open field. One thing that was different is was it wasn’t much medial landscape to capture as the setting was very lateral. because of this I was able to shoot most of the landscape in one single pass, with an exception being the far right side of the image as the trees required another higher pass to capture all of the visible landscape. This shoot consisted of 21 images.

This image is closer to an ordinary panorama as the image landscape I was capturing was far away so most of the image fit in a single pass, with the exception of the left side of the image which required a few passes as I was closer to the trees and was limited by my 50mm lens. The overcast sky allowed for a pink and fluffy backdrop, almost like candy floss. This soft sky over a detailed trees creates a contrasting line separating the image from top to bottom.
