Highmoor was my least favourite location out of everywhere I visited for this project. This was because of several reasons. Firstly the location was right next to a busy road so I had to time all my images captured on the left side of the merge as to not capture any cars in the shot. Secondly the landscape was fairly dull and didn’t have anything interesting to photograph. To attempt to overcome this lack of interest here I captured a full 360 degrees. This means that in this image you can see an entire circle of landscape in one flat image. You can see how the bottom right lines up perfectly with the bottom left.
Despite trying to capture a full 360 degree view I’m still not overly happy with this location, also whilst being so focused on capturing this large filed of view I neglected to capture the entirety of the trees, leaving a large gap to large too content fill. This ‘bite’ out of the image I feel really takes away from the immersive nature of a full 360 degree FOV
